A good day!

Beautiful weather.  French spoken and understood. Counterpoint explained.  Recital program practiced. Monks rehearsed.  COMS 101 mercifully ended early. Recital posters hung. Reporter's query answered. Dinner competently improvised.

And most importantly, I'm CLEARED for June graduation.  A good day!

A good day all around, it seems!

  2. It *was* a good day all around, MCK. The pre-recital pace is grueling, though, and I'll be even *happier* when it's over.

  3. Less than a week! You got this! ;)

I did have a question -- Monks rehearsed?

  4. MCK, I have a group of men singing the Ave Maris Stella with me in alternatum praxis. So I will play the first part of it, which substitutes for Verse 1, then the guys will sing Verse 2, then I'll play "verse 3", etc. which adds up to the seven verses. The guys are all from University Singers and they sound terrific.
